We work hand in hand with Government & Corporates to strengthen the non-formal education sector fueled by research and innovation to bring in inclusive change in the society.

AISECT’s transformative journey unfolds through dynamic partnerships with central and state ministries, spanning the educational, skill development, vocational education, capacity building, women empowerment, and employment-oriented training sectors. With affiliations to over 20 State Skill Development Missions, we are the driving force behind the nationwide implementation of government-sponsored skill development initiatives.

Our impact spans across 150+ job roles, aligned with 27 sector skills councils (SSCs) endorsed by industry bodies and NSDC. AISECT’s commitment to progress is exemplified by our successful execution of central government projects such as PMKVY, PMKK, DDU-GKY, and more. Through innovative partnerships and unwavering dedication, AISECT is crafting a future where skills are the key to empowerment and prosperity.

Over the past three decades, AISECT has been dedicated to supporting organizations in implementing CSR initiatives with a focus on uplifting marginalized communities in India. They have positively impacted over 4,74,575+ beneficiaries across India and have collaborated with notable entities like Microsoft RISE, Redington Foundation, UNDP, NASSCOM, Arcelor Mittal & Nippon Steel, Vedanta Nandghar, STEM For Girls, Samsung Dost, Tata Trusts, Saurya Urja, BOSCH India Bridge program, IBM, GAIL, JSW Foundation, C-DAC, Cholamandlam Investment and Finance Company, Muthoot Fincorp, AV Global Corporation, CREDAI, AWS re/start – IPE Global, POSOCO, HDFC Life Insurance Agents Programme, as well as public sector undertakings (PSUs) such as NALCO, NTPC, POWERGRID, MECL, and IOCL.

With a vision to elevate households and foster healthier lives, AISECT’s Livelihoods initiative encompasses a spectrum of integrated community-based interventions. From revolutionizing farming practices to bolstering healthcare, retail, textiles, logistics, and crafts, AISECT leaves no stone unturned in its quest for progress.

Through impactful projects like DAY-NULM, PMVDY-ESDP, District Project Livelihood College under Chhattisgarh State Skill Development Authority (CSSDA), NIESBUD, Tejaswini. By nurturing self-help groups and promoting economic independence, AISECT illuminates the path towards financial literacy, paving the way for brighter, more self-sufficient tomorrows.

AISECT equips apprenticeship training programs, where theoretical learning meets hands-on experience. Through flagship schemes like NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme), AISECT bridges the gap between academia and industry. By forging partnerships with employers and uniting diverse stakeholders, this initiative aspires to shape a more skilled and job-ready workforce, reduce unemployment, and contribute to the nation’s economic prosperity.

AISECT implements Capacity Building programs to develop and strengthen the skills, abilities, techniques, and resources that communities need to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fast-changing world. Capacity-building initiatives often focus on enhancing the knowledge and skills of beneficiaries to bridge the skill gap between rural and urban areas.
AISECT implements training programs through multiple projects such as the Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Program (PMVDY-ESDP) across Madhya Pradesh, MAVIM, SPIPA, Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj Training, etc.

AISECT empowers women to break societal norms that traditionally limit their choices. Through its multiple initiatives, AISECT provides access to education and skill training programs for women, helping them become economically independent & self-sufficient and, have the power to influence societal change.
Over the past 20 years, AISECT has reached out to over 4,00,000 women beneficiaries. AISECT implements different projects issued by State and Central governments focusing on empowering women via capacity-building programs and enabling them to undertake wage-employment or self-employment opportunities.
AISECT has implemented significant women-centric projects such as the Swashakti Project, Tejaswini Project, MAVIM, STEM for girls, Nai Roshni for minority women, Seekho Aur Kamao, inmates of prisons & juvenile homes, Nari Niketan, Kushal Se Kaushalta, Saksham Jharkhand Kaushal Vikas Yojana, Microsoft Rise etc.

AISECT joined hands with NSDC in May 2012 intending to skill 20 lakh youth across rural and semi-urban India by 2029. As a result of mapping the future manpower requirements with the strengths of AISECT, 20 sectors were identified that will offer training to expand AISECT skilling and training facilities to rural and backward regions in 26 states.
AISECT is constantly involved in developing programs and training modules to strengthen the non-formal education sector, and marginalized areas, and make youth more employable through multiple skill development programs – PMKK, PMKVY, Market Led Program (Fee-Based), Standard Training Assessment and Reward (Star), Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), Seekho aur Kamao, Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyan (GKRA), Crash Course Programme for COVID Warriors, Skill Hub Initiative (SHI), etc.
