About Our Founder

Mr. Santosh Choubey is a prominent social entrepreneur, an eminent educationist, a leading thinker, celebrated litterateur and a Hindi poet. He’s also a senior Ashoka fellow, whose experience spans through several worlds simultaneously. Recognized as a pioneering visionary, he’s known for his intense efforts towards disseminating skill-based education and ICT based services across the country.

1986

First edition of Computer Ek Parichay published

1985-90

Computer Literacy and Electronics Awareness programmes conducted in over 100 school

1989

Electroniki - the first Hindi magazine on electronics and computers launched

First computer based village level Information centre set up in Kotmi Sonar, Akaltara, C. G

1995-99

All India Co-ordinated programme for promotion of Multipurpose I.T. Centres in ten states

All India Co-ordinated programme for setting up I.T. Centres for women in thirteen states

Over 1000 AISECT centres set up
