AISECT facilitates Capacity Building programs to develop and strengthen the skills, abilities, techniques, and resources that communities need to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fast-changing world. Capacity-building initiatives often focus on enhancing beneficiaries’ knowledge and skills to bridge the skill gap between rural and urban areas. 

AISECT implements multiple projects such as Panchayati Raj Training, SPIPA, SIRD, NABARD, Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Rural Development, MAVIM. 

Impacted – 1,36,531+ Beneficiaries across India.

Capacity Building & Training program for PRI
(Panchayati Raj Institution)

Under RGSA (Rashtriya Grameen Swaraj Abhiyaan).

Capactiy Building

The Panchayati Raj Training Institute (PRI) is a crucial component of India’s rural self-governance system. In collaboration with AISECT to provide training for Panchayat Sachivs/Sahayaks and other officials in regions of Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Gujarat. The training’s primary goal is to instill essential knowledge of financial planning, literacy, banking operations, insurance, pensions, loans, and social security schemes at the grassroots level. This empowers local officials with the necessary skills for effective financial management within the Panchayati Raj system, facilitating sustainable development in rural areas.

Trained Beneficiaries – 1,00,185 PRI functionaries under 14625-gram panchayats, 247 blocks, and 33 districts.

Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA)

AISECT collaborates with SPIPA to provide CCC+ training programs for government functionaries. Over the past eight years, this program has successfully trained 11,000+ beneficiaries in Gujarat.

Training with the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD).

skills & livelihoods

AISECT has been empanelled with SIRD in Gujarat for organizing capacity training under Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) for elected representatives and functionaries associated with three tiers of panchayati (PRIs). AISECT has trained 6200 beneficiaries in 3 districts of Gujarat including Mahisagar, Tapi and Anand.

AISECT Collaboration’s with NABARD

AISECT, in collaboration with NABARD, empowers beneficiaries through PACS computerization, enhancing operational efficiency in Giridih, Jharkhand. This ensures that officials are up-to-date on the latest technologies for effective PACS operation. The initiative not only fosters financial inclusion and aids small farmers but also expands PACS officials’ outreach as hubs for banking and non-banking activities, advancing rural digitalization.

Trained – 119 Beneficiaries in Giridih, Jharkhand.

AISECT, in collaboration with NABARD, conducted a capacity building training program in the electronic sector, specifically centered around the job role of Daikin AC and refrigeration installation and maintenance. This program was held at the Center of Excellence, Daikin, located at the AISECT PMKK center in Raisen district, Madhya Pradesh.

AISECT has trained 30 Beneficiaries.

Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Rural Development

AISECT under MGNREGA initiative, provided IT training and upskilling programs to improve the computer proficiency of Panchayat-level functionaries. The program focused on training Gram Panchayat Sachiv and Rojgar Sahayaks in regions of MP including Sagar, Gwalior, Chambal, and Jabalpur. This initiative aimed to empower local officials with crucial IT skills, optimizing the administration and implementation of MGNREGA programs for more effective outcomes. 

Trained – 18,667 Beneficiaries.

Capacity Building Training with
Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal (MAVIM)

AISECT, through the Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal initiative, empowers rural women in Maharashtra via a capacity building program. This initiative focused on forming self-help groups and providing training in computer skills, mobile and laptop repair, Tally, and desktop publishing. By imparting these skills, the program aimed to enhance economic independence and enable women to participate in income-generating activities, actively engaging in the self-help group movement.

Trained Beneficiaries – 330 trainee women.
