AISECT Apprenticeship Program
About
AISECT’s mission is to foster youth employment and contribute to nation building through skilling. AISECT implements apprenticeship programs that provide on-the-job training to enhance beneficiaries’ skill sets.
AISECT collaborates with NAPS to boost employability in India through multiple apprenticeship programs. NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) is a government initiative, to offer financial support to establishments undertaking capacity building of the apprenticeship ecosystem, and provide advocacy assistance to stakeholders.
AISECT has Impacted 20,000+ beneficiaries across India, through the apprenticeship initiative.
Objectives of NAPS
- To develop a skilled workforce for the economy by promotion of on-the-job experiential training.
- To encourage establishments to enroll apprentices by sharing partial stipend support with the apprentices.
- To provide up-skilling opportunities for candidates who have undergone short-term skill training offered by various Central and State Government initiatives.
